The Japanese Government had begun implementing the Youth Exchange Program entitled JENESYS (Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths) from 2007. The JENESYS provides fully funded two week study tour to Japan and since the beginning of the program  a number of university and high school students from Mongolia had participated in this program. In 2013, the Government of Japan announced the JENESYS 2.0 Program as a new initiative of Japan’s commitment to further promote people-to-people exchange and build closer relations between Japan and Pacific Island Countries.  This Program aims to lead to strengthening friendship and deepening mutual understanding between Japanese and Pacific island youths.  Within the framework of the program, it is planned to invite 300 students from Mongolia to Japan. Herewith it is our great pleasure to inform that 2 students from Erdmiin Dalai secondary school of Saintsagaan sum are invited to participate in this 2 week program from 09 to 18 February 2015.

A new cooperation

A working group consisted of representatives from Citizen’s Representative Council visited Kosice of Slovak Republic, the most southern region and second largest city of the country, from 27 November to 2 December 2014. The delegates met with the authorities of the city and members of the City Council. They have agreed to further develop a cooperation in the areas of agriculture and health.


Study tour

30 people including representatives from Citizen’s Representative Council and officials from local government organizations participated in the Ulaan-Ud study tour from 23 to 30 October 2014.


Great Gobi camel festival

The Great Gobi Camel Festival took place in Delgerkhangai sum of Dundgobi province on the 9 of February. Over the past few years the number of livestock has increased significantly in all 5 categories and at the end of 2014 the livestock population of Dundgobi reached 2.4 million.
Specifically the number of camel has increased in recent years and currently the overall population of camel is at 28 thousand. In accordance with these achievements in the agricultural sector, the Citizen’s Representative Council and Governor’s Office of the province made a decision to organize this winter event in order to promote herdsmen, boost the importance of two humped camel’s productivity and publicize nomadic culture, lifestyle of herdsmen and winter tourism.

                                                       The schedule  included the following events.
